I was invited to dinner at the Luelai's. It's Lydia's 15th birthday and a special last dinner with them for me. Raht made many of my favorite dishes. We had Panang (a pork and eggplant coconut stew) another pork and cucumber stirfry and fried fish. It was all great and I got stuffed.

Your Thai people will miss you terribly. You have been so special to them and have made a life for yourself there. I cannot tell you how proud I am of you, how amazing you are and how you have really shown yourself to be a woman of substance. I am proud to be counted among the people you care about.
You have had an adventure these last years that most people would never even dream to try. You have GUTS. Nobody can ever take these experiences away from you! Never ever let anyone diminish this experience in your mind and heart! You went to the other side of the world, made a life on your own, supported a family who needed you, conquered fears, pioneered, tried the new and unknown day after day for years and years! A fantastic voyage!
